These days with online courses, web-based videos, tags, meta-data and many things, students sometimes need some tech support for basic and some not so basic things. IAP does not have the resources to provide dedicated tech support (although we try!) - it is best to get it from a dedicated source, and even better when it is free!
The purpose of this article is to give you enough of a basic understanding of the processes so that you can use this linguistic pattern for yourself if you desire to expand your consciousness on any thought or issue you're dealing with.
All of our thoughts and actions are undertaken within a frame of reference (of which we may or may not be conscious). Sometimes these frames lock us into very restrictive thinking that limits the choices we have in life. Using reframes, we can assist ourselves and others to get a different perspective on a problem and potentially other possible solutions. Reframing by itself seldom resolves the problem.
Graves values Levels are content-free, process-oriented constructs that relate as effectively to cultures, subcultures, societies, and nations as they do to individuals. Individuals within a culture or nation can have an array of Levels manifesting. The Level through which an individual or a nation views the world is related to the central issues or problems being faced (Beck, 1999).

So we are hoping that this post will clarify some facts and answer some of the questions you may be asking yourself about the future of counselling and psychotherapy in Australia and the Diploma that you are all doing. Denise and I (Jorge) are both professional members of the ACA and involved in the sector and are participating in some of the groups concerned.
